JsonifyTools is designed so common tool operations, such as JSON formatting, Base64 conversion, hashing, password generation, diffing, validation, and security scanning, happen in your browser where technically possible. We do not ask you to create an account to use these tools.
1. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect
We do not intentionally collect or store the text, JSON, files, passwords, tokens, hashes, API keys, or other payloads you paste into client-side tools. These inputs are generally processed locally in your browser and are not stored in a JsonifyTools user account.
2. Information That May Be Processed
Some site functionality may process non-sensitive technical information, such as page URL, browser type, device type, approximate region, referring page, and anonymous usage events through analytics or advertising services.
3. Local Storage and Browser State
Some tools may use localStorage, sessionStorage, or similar browser storage to remember settings such as theme, active tabs, formatting preferences, or recent local interface state. You can clear this data using your browser settings.
4. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
JsonifyTools may use analytics tools to understand aggregated traffic and improve the website. We may also use Google AdSense or other advertising partners. These partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads.
Learn more in our Cookie Policy.
5. API Tester and External Endpoints
If you use an API testing tool, requests may be sent from your browser to the endpoint you enter. The destination API is controlled by you or a third party, not by JsonifyTools. Review external API privacy policies before sending sensitive data.
6. Children's Privacy
JsonifyTools is intended for general developer and educational use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review the issue.
7. Security Practices
We design tools with browser-based processing where possible and review the website monthly. However, no website can guarantee absolute security. Avoid pasting production secrets into any online tool unless you fully understand the data flow.
